VMC DRaaS Connector suddenly offline
About 2 weeks after deploying the DRaaS Connectors to our Protected Site, they suddenly went offline and complained that “controller_init.py failed, dropping in to debug shell“, we tried a normal reboot but unfortunately it came back up with the same error… It appears that simply rebooting the VM was insufficient to restore the OVF properties.

VMC DRaaS vCenter fails to register for a protected site
Ive been having quite a few issues when trying to add vCenters to a Protected site on the DRaaS management page, I seem to get the error “Error registering vCenter for on-premises site – An unknown error has occurred”. I’ve noticed that “An unknown error has occurred” seems to be a reasonable common DRaaS error
